Possibly New Zealand’s most successful and popular Natural Bodybuilder, Stan ‘Da Man’ Tautalanoa’s competitive career spans two decades during which he has amassed numerous titles. From the time of his first appearance in 1992 in a Club contest until the present time Stan’s unassuming manner offstage and dynamic appearance onstage has won him friends and fans wherever he has competed.

Unlike many Bodybuilders Stan revels in competition and can compete in up to 12 contests in a year. In 2002 he competed 11 times and won titles in the Australian Musclemania (Overall title), Runner-up in his class at the Musclemania World Champs,

NABBA New Zealand National title, Class wins in the INBA Natural Olympia and Natural Universe Championships as well as the Overall title at the NABBA Wellington Championships and a Class win at the INBA South Pacific Championships.

Now 6 years older Stan has commenced his 2009 campaign by taking the Overall title at the 2009 INBA Dubbo International Championships in Australia and then competing in a string of NABBA Provincial competitions, more often than not taking the Overall Title in each.

For the remainder of 2009 his aim is to compete in the INBA Horleys South Pacific Natural Championships in Taupo, the INBA Natural Olympia in Queensland, the INBA Natural Universe in Californa and the World Musclemania in Las Vegas. He also intends competing in the remaining NABBA provincial shows and National Championships.

That Stan is able to successfully compete in these competitions while holding down a fulltime very physical job and spending time with his growing family indicates that he is a very remarkable man.

I regard it as a privilege that I have been able in some way to assist Stan reach his potential as both a Bodybuilder and a person.
